Chantler Packaging, Inc.
Chantler Packaging Inc., proudly celebrates over 70 years as pioneers in The Canadian plastics industry. Founded as Chantler and Chantler Ltd. in 1930 by the Chantler brothers - John A. and Ernest W., it was a merger of their individual companies. The company acted as manufacturers' agents for imported American and German celluloid, casein used in manufacturing buttons, styrene and various other resins. John introduced the first injection moulding machine to Canada with the sale of a German-made machine to a Toronto firm in 1930.
